Born in America and with Spanish heritage from Taffalla Spain, Aaron Tafoya lives a empowered life and creates with gratitude and bliss working personally with his clients; designing, drumming, innovating, teaching and applying his fine art design skills and craftsmanship to his lifes work. His drum shop work station is in Minneapolis Warehouse district located in Iron Maiden blacksmithing and fabrication studio as well as the Tafoya glass studio.
Aaron believes every musician should own a Cajon in its simplest form whether you are aspiring or a seasoned player. It is your portable drumset in one, its your groove connection, its your place of creative flow, peace and meditation and hopefully it fits you in a place within the creative community around you.

The cajon is regarded as the worlds most versatile and practical percussion instrument designed by the Peruvian people who were the first innovators of this percussion instrument replacing their traditional instruments. This drum is a down right powerful folkloric instrument putting out sounds and rhythms that support musical genres in several settings: Afro Cuban, afro Peruvian, jazz, hip hop, flamenco, faith, drum circles, studio recording...what ever you want!
